Leadership

Tyler Eason

Lead Pastor

Tyler grew up in Wilson, NC. In God’s kindness, he encountered the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection at an early age and became a follower of Christ.

In 2012, he married Jackie. They’re the proud parents of 4 beautiful children. After spending the first decade of marriage serving a church in Minnesota, their hearts began to yearn for gospel growth in Eastern NC. In 2022, they moved to NC to plant Gospel Hope Church in Greenville, NC.

Chris Glover

Elder

Chris and his wife Stephanie are both Eastern NC natives. In addition to serving as an elder here in the states, Chris has several years of experience serving as a missionary in Honduras. He is passionate about helping people know, love, and follow Jesus.

Jesse Nelson

Director of Discipleship

Jesse is a missionary kid from Brazil who enjoys serving the church and making disciples. With years of experience doing missions work around the world and here in the US, he has a heart for the nations and for building healthy churches. He and his wife Heather have three children.

about us

Why Gospel Hope?

At Gospel Hope Church, we’re committed to being a gospel-centered church that looks to Jesus, loves one another, and lives on mission.

We look to Jesus in worship as we gather regularly on Sundays and throughout the week to pray, sing and be shaped by his Word. The Bible is our final authority in life, faith, and doctrine. We also recognize that we cannot do anything our own, so we live prayerfully dependent on God’s help and provision for all things.

We love one another like family because we’re brought together and kept together by the gospel. It’s our prayer that we might serve as a reflection of our diverse community to showcase the power of the Spirit to unite people under King Jesus. Our congregation holds to historic, Baptist theology and is led by a plurality of qualified, male elders.

We live on mission because God has given us the task to make disciples of all nations. We want to see our neighbors, our city, and our world transformed by the power of the gospel. We strive to be a faithful embassy of the kingdom of Jesus here in Greenville and to cooperate with others to start and strengthen churches around the world.
